Have you ever struggled to lose weight and in that struggle,  found it difficult to find an exercise program you really liked long enough to see results?

That was me. I felt like I was never going to complete a program ever! The weight kept piling on and I’d find one program after another that would last about a week before I gave up.

Until I found a program that met my expectations and I appreciated the workouts enough to complete the program and even regularly use the exercises I learned in the program to this day! I’m so excited to share my experience with you so that you can find a program that meets your expectations and works well for you too!

In this post, I’ll be talking about:

  • My Workout Expectations

  • What Is PIIT28

  • How PIIT28 Changed My Body

  • How To Find a Workout Perfect For You

If you’re tired of going through programs left and right without seeing results, then read on to learn how you can beat this back and forth like I did!

My Workout Expectations

I started working out towards the end of high school to build stamina and tone up, especially when I started a team sport for school. I wanted to be able to keep up with everyone but not spend a ton of time running and doing sit-ups and push ups. I just wanted something quick that got my heart rate up and toned my body that didn’t make me feel like I was dragging myself through the workout to get it done.

I was frustrated that most of what I knew about working out was boring sit-ups, push ups, etc. I wanted to enjoy my workout at least a little bit!

Well one day, a friend of mine recommended I look into Cassey Ho’s Blogilates. She opened my eyes to a whole new way of working out that I hadn’t been exposed to before; pilates. I found the beginner’s calendar and boy did I see a difference even 2 weeks into it! I love that Cassey Ho is so positive and relatable and the workouts were usually about 20-30 minutes or less! I’ve followed Cassey Ho since 2013 and have done her workouts on and off. You should definitely check out her beginner’s workout calendar here, if you’re easing into an exercise routine. Her monthly workout calendars, and her challenges, and advice were all helpful in marking off all the expectations I have for a workout.

One day in 2017, I found myself frustrated because I hadn’t been eating well and working out for a while and I didn’t like looking at pictures of myself anymore. So I decided I was going to try to find a calendar or challenge I wanted to do by Cassey and stumbled upon a workout series she had just come out with. PIIT28.

What Is PIIT28

PIIT28 stands for Pilates Intense Interval Training, This program is 4 weeks, or 28 days long and each day is a workout that is 28 minutes long. Hence the name PIIT28. This program combines the idea of a HIIT workout (High Intensity Interval Training) and pilates, which is a form of strength training.

This was exactly what I needed! I didn’t want to spend an hour working out but I still wanted to get my heart rate up and get toned and become stronger. PIIT28 comes with an ebook covering what the program is, what each exercise is and how each workout works and she walks you through the whole process! There are images AND descriptions for each move which is super helpful.

By the time I completed the PIIT28 1.0 program, I lost 9lbs in those 4 weeks, but the real change was in how my body looked and felt!

If you’re ready to give this program a try, I promise you will be the strongest person for it! Mentally and physically. You will be unbelievably proud and amazed at what your body can actually do! Click here to check out the PIIT28 1.0 program for yourself! See how your body changes for yourself!

How PIIT28 Changed My Body

I could not even believe it when I was just 1 week in. Or 2 weeks! But by the end I was FLOORED. I actually felt strong for the first time in my life. I started seeing more of a butt, my legs had curves! You could see the different muscles in my legs, my abdomen wasn’t bloated looking and when I flexed, you could see the muscle making it’s way to the surface. I just had to lose a little more around my middle to see those abdominal muscles, but I certainly felt them and saw the start of them coming in when flexed.

The even more amazing thing is that I viewed myself differently. Over the course of the program, I gradually changed my mindset. I was more positive. I believed in myself. I believed I could do more than I ever could before because I stuck to the end of the program. I was happier. I FELT lighter. I started viewing myself as “in progress” instead of seeing myself as a mess. I even started liking my body. This was a HUGE change for me.

I urge you to at least look at Cassey Ho’s PIIT28 page and see if you’re ready to look and feel amazing like I did! This is a lower price than what I paid, and it was worth every penny! So click here to start your new wellness journey now!

How To Find A Workout Perfect For You

I understand not being completely ready to commit to a weight loss plan quite yet. It can be hard, and if you’re trying to focus more on nutrition, then adding in too many changes is too much. I totally get it! When you’re ready to start implementing exercise, take it slow.

Lower intensity exercise is always best when starting out. One really easy exercise I did that supported my weight loss plan was taking a walk after eating dinner. It was actually nice getting out in nature, and it went from walking 20 minutes to 1.5 hours and even turned into a twice a day thing! I love walking. Another good low intensity workout is yoga. You can do yoga at home or at the gym, basically anywhere!

Walking and yoga are amazing, and I still implement both into my weekly routine, but as my new healthy habits became second-nature, I wanted to start looking for something more. This has always led me back to Cassey Ho’s workouts and PIIT28 for a higher intensity workout routine. So take this whole healthy lifestyle thing one step at a time. If you stay consistent, you will get there, I promise!

Be proud of yourself. You’re doing great!
